It validates the recall notice, identifies affected vehicles, notifies registered owners, schedules dealership inspections, orders replacement parts, records regulatory compliance, and closes the recall case.

Recall Escalation

Vehicle Recall Management

This workflow handles escalation of a recall case where an initial inspection or parts order has failed. It re-validates the recall, enforces a brief processing Wait, then re-runs owner notification and parts ordering in parallel before re-scheduling inspection or closing the case with an escalation flag.

Express Vehicle Check

Vehicle Recall Management

This workflow provides a fast recall eligibility check for a single VIN. It identifies whether the vehicle is affected, and if so immediately schedules a dealership inspection, applying a brief Wait to allow appointment confirmation to propagate before completing with a Succeed or Fail terminal state.

Bulk Recall Processing

Vehicle Recall Management

This workflow processes a batch of affected vehicles concurrently using a Map state with a maximum concurrency of 3. For each vehicle, owner notification and parts ordering are run simultaneously in a Parallel state before scheduling the inspection appointment.

Vehicle Order Pipeline

Models a complete end-to-end vehicle order fulfillment pipeline using AWS Step Functions. It validates the incoming order, checks dealer inventory, runs a customer credit check, schedules production or dealer allocation, arranges delivery logistics, and notifies the customer on confirmation.

Order Cancellation

Vehicle Order Fulfillment

Handles the end-to-end cancellation of a previously placed vehicle order. It validates cancellation eligibility, enforces a brief cooling-off Wait period to allow in-flight production and finance operations to settle, then runs concurrent inventory and credit reversal checks using a Parallel state before releasing the order or failing the cancellation with a structured error.

Express Credit Check

Vehicle Order Fulfillment

Provides a low-latency express path for time-sensitive vehicle financing decisions. It immediately runs a credit assessment on the incoming request and, if approved, reserves the vehicle in inventory, then applies a brief Wait to allow the reservation to propagate to dealer management systems before completing with a Succeed or Fail terminal state.

Bulk Order Processing

Vehicle Order Fulfillment

Processes a batch of vehicle orders concurrently using a Map state, with a maximum concurrency of 3. Each order in the batch is independently validated and screened for inventory availability and credit eligibility in parallel branches before being confirmed or rejected.
